About Us

The Branch Bistro & Catering is Springfield’s newest culinary learning laboratory.  Located in the Assembly of God Headquarters building on Boonville Avenue, The Branch is open for lunch daily to the public.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 11am to 1pm. Simply inform the reception desk you are headed down for lunch, walk down the stairs, and enter an extraordinary dining experience.  We have menu boards and display cases out to show the Chef’s specials daily.

At the Branch, culinary students rotate through a variety of laboratory internship positions including both Front-of-House and Back-of-House areas.  Students begin as a steward and work their way through food running, cooking and catering functions.  They are guided along the way by our world class staff.  We have two Certified Executive Chefs, a French Pastry Chef, Catering Instructor, and Banquet Manager on site to provide instruction.

Our catering service is operated out of the same kitchen, and serves both internal functions as well as events at other locations or venues.
